Official Gosgeokadastra Kiev region detained on a bribe of 200 thousand UAH

KIEV. May 31. UNN. Chief specialist of Department of control over the use and protection of lands of head Department of Gosgeokadastr detained when receiving a bribe of 200 thousand UAH for the change of purpose of 35 plots of land in the suburbs of Kiev. This is reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the military Prosecutor of the Central region of Ukraine.

“The military Prosecutor of the Kiev garrison Central region of Ukraine together with employees of Department of protection of the economy in the Kyiv region of the Department of protection of economy of the National police detained the chief specialist of Department of control of use and protection of lands of head Department of Gosgeokadastr during obtaining illegal benefit”, – is spoken in the message.

Light-fingered officials received “remuneration” in the amount of 200 thousand UAH for replacement purpose 35 plots of land in the suburbs of Kiev.

The official was detained in order St. 208 Criminal procedure code of Ukraine on suspicion of committing a crime under part 3 St. 368 Criminal code of Ukraine (obtaining official unlawful benefit on a large scale combined with extortion).

Now the question on election of a preventive measure.

We will remind that the sanction of part 3 of article 368 of the Criminal code of Ukraine prescribes punishment in the form of imprisonment for the term from 5 till 10 years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to 3 years, with confiscation of property.

As reported UNN, on may 26, suspected of bribery of an official was transferred to bail the players in the Kirovograd region.
