Odessa will host the world championship on hockey among juniors
The event is scheduled for April 2018
In 2018 Odessa will take the Junior ice hockey world championship in Division IB. This was reported in Facebook the mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov.
The event will be held in April 2018 in Odessa Palace of sports.
“This is the first in the history of Odessa official competitions in ice hockey… We have returned to our city a large ice, opening a new, modern ice arena. Created branch for ice hockey at the sports school “Ginestra”. Every day we are improving the sports infrastructure in the city, creating conditions for accessible sports,” wrote Trukhanov.
He added that the city Council will make every effort to organise the championship at a high level.
