ODESSA – KIEV. 15 Feb. UNN. The Commission tekhnogenno-ecological safety of the Odessa city Council lifted restrictions on visits to schools and kindergartens children not vaccinated against measles. About it the correspondent said UNN in the education Department of Odessa city Council.

However, over the last week in Odessa region decreased the incidence of measles by 18%. Among children under 17 years, a decrease of 26.6%.

“In the Odessa region in the past two weeks seen a downward trend in the incidence of measles. Consequently, among adults during the week in the region recorded 141 cases of measles against 172 in the previous year. Among children, 80 cases against 109. Note that since the beginning of the year, the region already vaccinated against measles over 23 thousand people”, – said the Director of the health Department of Odessa regional state administration Vyacheslav Polesny.

Note, over the past week in the area was hospitalized 108 cases of measles, including 52 children. From the beginning, this diagnosis was confirmed in 736 cases. The most vulnerable are the age group 1-4 years (179 cases, or 24.3%) and adults (284 or 38.6%).
