In Odessa region began implementation of the project, which will allow you to control the name and origin of wine according to EU standards and increase the competitiveness of products in foreign markets. This was announced by the head of Department of an agrarian policy of the Odessa regional state administration Ivan Petrov, reports UNN with reference to the press service of the RSA.

“It is planned to introduce quality control from hive to finished product. Also, the project will allow the export to identify the wine produced in the territory of Odessa region. After all, an integral part of the conditions of Association with the EU remains the quality assurance and origin control of food products. In particular, before the end of this year will complete the inventory of vineyards. This approach will be the basis for effective protection of the rights of producers of our region”, – said Ivan Petrov.
