“Two weeks after the assassination I have been provided with the state protection”, — stated in the message.
TV presenter and activist of the Automaidan Vitaly Ustimenko June 5 was taken to the hospital with bruises and a stab wound to the back, after two unidentified men attacked him near the Odessa branch of the Public television, where Ustymenko led the program “the Theme of the day.” Eyewitnesses of the incident said that two attackers were waiting for the activist for another half hour before the attack.
Later, on June 18, there was an attack on editor-in-chief of the Kherson site of “the Bridge”, the representative of the NGO “Institute of mass information” in the Kherson area Sergey Nikitenko.
According to the journalist, the attackers on him, similar to people who previously stabbed Ustimenko. He learned them on the screenshot of the video of the events in Odessa.
