“Naftogaz” has reduced oil production

KIEV. 19 Dec. UNN. During January-September of the current year enterprises of the group “Naftogaz” reduced by 6% oil and gas condensate. This is stated in the analytical note to the consolidated financial statements of the group “Naftogaz of Ukraine” during 9 months of 2017, reports UNN.

“For the first 9 months of 2017 group companies “Naftogaz” has produced 1509 thousand tons of oil and gas condensate, which is 6% less than production for the first 9 months of 2016. The decrease is due to the growing proportion of hard-to-recover and exhausted reserves and lack of new fields with significant reserves”, – stated in the text of the document.

It is also noted that for the first 9 months of 2017, the group transported the 11.9 million tons of crude oil, which is 7% higher transportation volumes of the same period in 2016. The increase was due to the opening of the route Odessa-Kremenchug refinery in March of this year.

The total processing volume of crude oil and gas condensate and oil products trade for the first 9 months of 2017 increased by 6% and amounted to 1.3 million tons.
