KIEV. 14 Feb. UNN. The national anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine confirmed that on Wednesday arrested the mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov and his Deputy, adding that now with all the suspects are investigative and procedural actions and the issue of the measure of restraint. About it UNN reported in a press-service of NABOO.
“On February 14 at the airport “Borispol” detectives NABOO and prosecutors SAP in accordance with article 208 of the criminal procedure code of Ukraine detained in Odessa the mayor and his Deputy suspected of committing a crime under part 5 of article 191 UK of Ukraine (“Acquisition of property by abuse of official position”). Now with all the suspects are investigative and procedural actions, as well as the question on election of a preventive measure”, – stated in the message.

We will remind, the National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine suspects the mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov and 6 Council officials in embezzlement of funds of the city budget and reported the suspicion, and detained three people.
