The Ministry of defence of Ukraine is studying the possibility of expanding the number of troops in the South of Odessa region and the deployment of military commandant’s office in Sochi. About this on his page in Facebook wrote the Minister of defence Stepan Poltorak, reports UNN.
“In General, we are studying the possibility of expanding the number of troops in the South of Odessa region,” – wrote S. Poltorak.
He said previous military and political leadership made decisions that resulted in practically no military units in the region.
“Our plan is to increase this group, to create the infrastructure and necessary logistics. Today we have a military unit in Bolgrad, formed military units in Sarata will be a military office in Sochi,” – said S. Poltorak.
In addition, according to the Minister, in connection with the extension 88 paratroops battalion of the 79th brigade S. Poltorak decided on a phased allocation of funds required for the reconstruction of infrastructure and to solve the housing problem of servicemen.
As previously reported UNN, the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak, will take the decision on strengthening the presence of the APU in Bessarabia.
