Military of Venezuela blocked the road on which Guido goes to the border with Colombia

KIEV. 21 Feb. UNN. The representatives of the Bolivarian guard and police closed the passage of vehicles on the road leading to the border of Colombia, in which the leader of the opposition of the country Juan Guido is directed to deliver to the country humanitarian aid. It is reported by the newspaper El Nacional, informs UNN.

According to her, the convoy of opposition members of Parliament were for a time stopped. Previously also reported about the use by police of tear gas against supporters of Guido heading with him towards the Colombian city of Cucuta, where one of the points of delivery of humanitarian assistance.

Earlier, the leader of the Venezuelan opposition Juan Guido announced plans delivery of February 23 humanitarian aid across the island of curaçao in the Caribbean sea. According to him, the authorities will try to prevent its delivery, but the opposition with the help of volunteers will still be able to distribute food and medicines among the population. The current President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro called the initiative on transfer of humanitarian aid to the “poor and cheap shows of the oligarchy” and urged citizens to abandon it.

As noted by the UNN, the opposition in Venezuela has announced the launch of 11 diplomats to the side of Guido.
