MIA: In a deadly accident in Kharkov killed 5 people
Two people are in serious condition
The result is a deadly traffic accidentthat occurred the evening of 18 October in Kharkiv, 5 people were killed and another 6 injured. This was announced by adviser to the Minister of internal Affairs Zoryan Shkiryak, reports 112 Ukraina.
“Just now I spoke with the head of the Department of national police of Kharkiv region Oleg Behom which keeps the case under personal control. This case is taken on personal control of the Minister of internal Affairs and Chairman of national police, the attorney General. I can say that there are now 11 victims: 5 dead, underline, 5 dead, 2 people are in serious condition, one of them a pregnant woman who is permanently in a coma. Now doctors are fighting for her life”, – said the interior Ministry.
Shkiriak said that now held all the necessary investigative actions in respect of perpetrators of the accident, checked the surveillance cameras.
“Most likely it will be two culprits and “Lexus” and “Touareg”, it’s in advance. As for the driver of “Lexus”, it was detained in order St. 208, and in the near future, the court shall elect a measure of restraint”, – said the adviser to the interior Minister.
He added that in the presence of the activists at the camera was again taken blood samples from drivers to guide them to the re-examination regarding a possible blood content of alcohol or drugs.
Advisor to the Minister of internal Affairs assured that the case would be investigated objectively.
“I can assure you that this matter will be investigated fairly and objectively, because monitoring and the public, and society, and journalists will not get any opportunity in some way in this situation to avoid an objective investigation”, – said Shkiryak.
Earlier, the head of Kharkiv regional state administration Yulia Svetlichnaya reported that the accident killed 6 people.
