Mei provides citizens with the EU after Brexit the status of settlers

The British government has published a documentoutlining proposals relating to the status of European Union citizens in Britain after a Brexit.

In particular, the document States that all EU citizens living in Britain legally for a minimum period of five years, will receive the “status of settlers” and can bring into the country spouses and children.
