McMaster: trump will force Russia to answer for the actions in SyriaUncategorized May 13, 2017
Constant communication of the President of the United States Donald trump with officials of the Kremlin will not prevent him to engage Russia accountable for “inappropriate behavior” in the middle East and in other parts of the world. This was stated by Advisor to trump on national security Herbert McMaster, reports The New York Post.
“The President has made clear is the fact that it will resist the destructive behaviour of Russia, such as support for the bloody Assad regime in Syria…pandering to Iran, and it is very destructive policies and strategy, which applies throughout the middle East,” he said.
McMaster noted that trump and his administration, at the same time, will “look for areas of cooperation” with Moscow. However, said a number of issues in the field of international security will be easier to solve “if Russia will come to the conclusion that she would be better able to promote their interests by cooperating with the United States and other countries to address these conflicts, not perpetuating them.”
