The petition, published on change.org “to Provide an opportunity MARUV to participate in Eurovision” at the time of publication of news has gained 9 thousand 271 signature.
In the description of the petition, the contract of the singer MARUV with the Public compared with the “Pact with the devil” – “restricts freedom of speech and movement artist”.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the singer MARUV was supposed to represent Ukraine at the Eurovision song contest-2019, which will be held in Israel. Her victory in the national selection provoked a scandal – a number of politicians and community activists have opposed the candidacy of the singer as she toured in Russia.
On his page on Facebook, the singer wrote that for the sake of participation in the Eurovision song contest 2019 it is ready to abandon a planned tour in Russia. Despite this, negotiations between the Public and the singer failed.
