“We had health problems. The tests showed a high content of heavy metals in my blood and Mr. Nastase,” said Sandu. According to her, the treatment allowed to reduce the concentration of the poison, but now the tests again show its growth, writes Unimedia.

“The doctors assure us that intoxication could not occur naturally, so we have suspicions,” he added, hinting at a possible poisoning.

Nastase was more categorical. “With all responsibility state that we became the object of attack by the government, which wants us dead. They used heavy metals, one of which is mercury,” – said the politician. He noted that a toxic substance found in the blood of even some of his colleagues.

The country is ready to abandon the idea if it becomes a stumbling block for the development of cooperation with NATO and accession to the EU.

“I pledge to the people of the Republic of Moldova not to enter into any formal or informal coalition with the Democratic party, the Party of socialists party “shore”, “Our party” and other oligarchic and anti-European forces”, – the document says.
