KIEV. July 20. UNN. Kyiv and London are negotiating a new trade and economic agreement after a British exit from the European Union. The new agreement can be more advanced than the agreement with the EU. About it in interview “to date,” said the Ambassador of Ukraine in London Natalia galibarenko, reports UNN.
“After Brexit, the Association Agreement will lose force for Britain, therefore, must be replaced with a two-sided document. We have ambitious plans. We British want to go further than the Association Agreement, as time goes by, and we understand that some things are obsolete or somewhere you can get a wider market access. We were told about the British side. First reaction was very restrained. But I hope that in the consultation process we will be able to enter the fact that a new agreement on free trade zone would be more ambitious,” said Galibarenko.
