The new head coach of “Chernomorets” told “SE” about his foreign experience and plans for the first phase of preparation for the spring part of the season.

The famous saying “the same river twice not enter” to Konstantin Frolov difficult to apply. In the “Chernomorets” he came three times, and the last time with the promotion.
– Since 2005, five years as head of the double “Chernomorets”, was the head coach of “Chernomorets-2” and assistant Manager of the first team of Igor Nakonechny – says Frolov. – In 2015 became the sports Director of the football school, and last fall returned from Batumi “Dinamo”, was appointed senior coach of the youth team.

– Who was included in your coaching staff?
– I will help Konstantin Balabanov, the novel Kozhukhovsky and Andriy Glushchenko. With Balabanov we worked in double, Kozhukhovsky has acquired experience abroad, where he worked with teams of higher divisions of Estonia and Slovenia. Well, Glushchenko known Odessa fans from the time, as he entered the headquarters of Roman Grigorchuk.
– One of the predecessors called for example?
– Of course, Viktor Prokopenko. Together we worked, but I’ve had just crossed and watched from the sidelines. Viktor was a very talented coach and a great psychologist, having the ability to find an approach to the players. And yet, Prokopenko was a fine tactician, proved not only in the “Chernomorets”.
Note semen Altman, who was fortunate enough to work in the club structure. Bribed his rational scientific and methodical approach to football. Semyon Iosifovich strong in psychology, the construction of the training process and, of course, modeling that generates the results with different teams.
You had the opportunity to work in Kazakhstan and Georgia. Useful experience?
– Working with the youth national team of Kazakhstan and Georgian clubs “Shukur” and “Dynamo” (Batumi), I found myself in a new environment, in the atmosphere of another culture. Take the mentality of the players. This became my new challenge, helped to enrich knowledge on the organization and management of the training process. It was felt that there I not only expanded professional horizons, but also grew as a coach.

– Probably, and cones to fill in time?
– Not without it. However, it was tempered – as a person and as a coach. Batumi “Dinamo”, for example, there were a variety of problems, including financial. Had to get out. But anyway, any experience goes in the piggy Bank.
– We started work in the “Chernomorets” in his new post?
– Analysis of the individual actions of each player and the team as a whole. Studied information about the players with which to work. Was pondering who to invite to the place of departed players. Developed a program of preparation for the spring part of the season, which includes three stages – home and two Turkish.
– Will the style of play of the Odessa team in comparison with the autumn sample?
– I think so. Every coach has his own philosophy on which he builds the team. This year has adopted a comprehensive work on physical and tactical qualities. In the performance of the players want to see the ball control and positional attacks.
– Modern football is not in place. What game tactics tend?
– Probably, it would be wrong to speak of any one scheme. Depending on ball possession and defensive actions, it can vary. If you talk about basic scheme, with the original lineup, that will be a start from a 4-3-3. But then again, it may vary depending on the player or given account.
This can be a game with three Central defenders, the scheme 3-4-3 or 4-2-3-1. The team needs to find a balance between attacking and defensive actions, and each player is to adapt to the schema set. In any case, we’re tied to the outcome of the game is our goal.

The team left a lot of players. Who will be the most difficult to replace?
– This question I would answer only after we pass a certain stage of preparation. And speaking about staff losses would not be to exaggerate. While the major players have gone four: the goalkeeper GUTOR, midfielder Alassane and two strikers, Khoblenko and Vasin.
Koblenko moved to the Polish “Lech” – on loan with option to buy. As for Vasina, he decided to try his hand at another team (in the “Vorskla”, which on the eve flew to the Turkish camp. – Approx. “SE”). If a person has a desire, we request to satisfy. Want to “Chernomorets” left in those players who have the desire to play for our club.
However, I can not mention that the performance was weak, therefore, primarily aimed at improving the quality of game in attack. At this stage, working to increase another striker.

Is a global problem of our football. Not surprisingly, the list of scorers in the Premier League is increasingly led by the legionaries. Will try to find the attacker or try to solve the problem by group action in the attack.

– Maybe it makes sense to take a risk and retrain players to other roles?
– We have a group of offensive players, gaming quality of which we try to reveal the best side during the winter training camp. In football, it often happens that the player has certain abilities, but they are not showing. So let’s try to find the hidden reserves.
– Lately a lot of talk surrounding possible departure from the team Alexei Antonov, Sergey Politylo, Mamadou Vaga, Fousseni Bamba, Kirill Kovalets…
– All of these players still in the team and are eager to play for Chornomorets. As for the rumors, then you need to understand the specifics of the winter intermission. During this period, as in the summer, there is a lot of speculation, which probably created interested in transfers to persons. Sometimes, with a lack of official information appear speculation, thereby filling the information vacuum.
– Filling jobs, will focus on their own youth or intend to invite players?
To the solution of this question will be approached in a balanced manner. For some positions we want to invite experienced players, however, do not forget that have their own Academy and youth teams. In them – promising guys who need to give a chance. When choosing suitable candidates will analyze the performance matching not only opportunities and requests, but ambition, and the desire to play Chornomorets.

Apparently you have already decided whether the list of reservists, whom we intend to take to the first training camp in Turkey?
– At this stage, with the main team involved four players from the youth team. It is possible that they will go with us. All show work on the pull-in stage.
– A lot of new players from other clubs have already joined the team?
– A small group of players is already in the location of “Chernomorets”, but to call them names is not going to. They are all we have. Some candidates will take a decision in the coming days, for the rest – make a conclusion already in Turkey.
– It is known that the first foreign stage of preparation “Chernomorets” will go next Tuesday. As painted Turkish training camp?
– We have scheduled six friendlies. 19 January we are waiting for Kazakhstan “Irtysh”, 21st – Romanian “Politechnica”, 23rd – Azerbaijani “Sabail”, 25th – Romanian Viitorul, and the 27th Macedonian “Vardar” Bulgarian “Dunav”. The second camp will also be held in Turkey. The only difference is that instead of Belek will work in side.
