The EU, obviously, will have to increase the EU budget contributions after Britain’s exit from the bloc. This was stated by the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker before the start of the informal summit of leaders of 27 EU countries in Brussels, reports European truth.

“If we want to implement new priorities, new policy, if we do not want to cut existing programs, it is obvious that countries have to pay more,” – said Juncker.

He also did not comment on the meeting yesterday of the British government, which lasted more than eight hours.

At the meeting it was decided that next week the Prime Minister of Britain, Theresa may will formally present a new proposal for the second phase of negotiations on Brexit.

18 Feb 2018 may said that the UK and the EU need to conclude a new Treaty on security, which will operate after the country’s withdrawal from the EU.
