The baby, whose weight at birth was only 268 grams, was discharged from the hospital in Tokyo (Japan) home. Doctors assessed the health condition of a child as good.

In the hospital of Keio University reported that the boy was born prematurely in August 2018.
His mother’s doctors performed a caesarean section at 24 weeks pregnant.

The baby spent six months in the intensive care unit for newborns.
During this time, the weight of the baby has reached more than 3200 grams. He was discharged from the hospital on February 20.
Doctor Takeshi Arimitsu said that the hospital staff was watching very carefully the condition of the baby, because babies whose weight at birth is less than 300 grams, survive only in half of the cases.
