The quarterfinal matches are played criss-cross, and in the semifinals, the teams are re-seeded based on the following criteria: place in the group, number of points in the group, difference of goals scored and conceded in the group, number of goals scored in the group, seeding before the start of the tournament.
Quarterfinal pairs: Finland — Switzerland (May 4, 01: 30 Moscow time), Russia — Belarus (May 3, 20:30 Moscow time), Canada — Czech Republic (May 3, 23:00 Moscow time), Sweden — USA (May 4, 04:00 Moscow time).
Thus, if there is no sensation, in the semifinals will play: Canada — Sweden/USA, Finland — Russia.
