It’s almost $ 300 million! Groysman made the urgent request of the Prosecutor General’s office and the NEB to protect the property of the Odessa port plant

During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman made the urgent request, to conduct a detailed investigation of the protection of the property of PJSC “Odessa port plant”. The case will be taken under the personal control of Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

The Prime Minister voiced his instructions to the state property Fund and the Ministry of justice of Ukraine during the open meeting of the Cabinet, reports “Dialog. UA”.

Groisman said that the purpose of the protection of state property must immediately take appropriate action. According to him, instructions on the necessary response to the situation concerning the Odessa portside plant have already been deployed in several instances.

“A government Directive: the SPF to take comprehensive measures to protect the interests of the state. Please, if necessary, change the plant management immediately. Lawyers immediately. The Ministry of justice and the same Commission to take all necessary measures for the protection of state property,” – said the Prime Minister at the meeting.

In addition, he supported the initiative of the Minister of justice Pavel Petrenko to bring to trial of the case to the General Prosecutor’s office and NABOO. “The treatment I will receive today at the NAB, I think they will be interested in this – almost $ 300 million as it happens. In addition, I will apply to the Prosecutor General that he is under personal control took the case,” he said Groisman.

Informed “Dialogue. UA” reported that Mikhail Saakashvili announced his intention to continue to expose corruption schemes used at the Odessa port plant.
