Inhabitants of Odessa region complained about the road – survey

KIEV. April 25. UNN. Inhabitants of Odessa region state the deterioration of the quality of roads in recent years, reports UNN with reference to the findings of a survey conducted by TV channel “News one”.

“The roads are broken. It is impossible to pass,” said Odessa.

People argue that roads in the area in a terrible state.

“In my opinion, the worst road Odessa – Reni, because we have many people from there commute to work in Odessa. Very difficult to reach. The road is terrible,” said one of the residents of Odessa region.

As previously reported UNN, active participants of tenders for the repair of roads remain defendants in criminal proceedings, the accused police officers in misappropriation of public funds.

So, for example, “PBS”, which was convicted of misappropriation of 22 million UAH for the repair of roads, has recently won the tender of Service of roads in Chernivtsi region for conducting current average repair cost of more than 38 million UAH. Besides, now she claims to be a tender of Service of roads in Chernivtsi region for conducting current average repair of the road M-19 in the amount of almost UAH 80 million.

The company “the Highway”, which is suspected by law enforcement in financial fraud, in the last three years has won the tender for 1 billion UAH. Despite allegations of law enforcement in the misappropriation of public funds, the company “the Highway” became the winner of the five tenders Management of housing and communal services of Executive Committee of Korosten city Council for a total amount of almost UAH 5 million.

It should be noted that in these tenders the company “the Highway” was the only bidder.

Also UNN reported about the cast of tenders for road repairs between the two parties. Thus, only in the second half of 2016 and first quarter 2017 two companies – “Highway-South” and the limited liability company “Onur construction yard international” took part in more than a dozen tenders on the current average and major repairs of the Ukrainian public roads that makes the road Service in Lviv region.

However, against the background of statements of the Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman and the relevant Minister V. Omelyan that 90% of Ukrainian roads are in disrepair, the regional roads continue to order medium minor repairs instead of major.
