KIEV. 15 Aug. UNN. In Malyn, Zhytomyr region there was a fire in the Church. This was reported to UNN in the press-service of management of gschs in the region.
“August 15 at 4 a.m. while on duty experts 13th State firefighting and rescue part of the city of Malin noticed the smoke at 100 meters from the unit. Arriving at the scene, they found out that the building caught fire two-story brick Church – from under the roof and the Windows on the second floor, where the storeroom was smoke. The employee tried to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher, but it did not work”, – told the Agency.
As indicated, there was a threat of rapid spread of fire throughout the building, the size of which 23х12 m, and located near a children’s sports school.
“At 5:15 rescuers stopped the spread of combustion, and at 6:20 – liquidated a fire. They were able to save most of the roof and the prayer hall. The fire destroyed 20 square meters of roof, the property in the two back rooms on the first and second floors”, – stated in the message.
