In Ukraine, the workload of hospitals where they take patients with COVID-19, reaches 24%

KIEV. 15 Aug. UNN. In Ukraine, the workload of hospitals where they take patients with COVID-19, currently stands at 24%, but in some regions the situation is much worse than others. This was during the briefing said the Minister of health, Maxim Stepanov, the correspondent of UNN.

“In General, if you take all, without exception, hospitals who have places for patients COVID-19, we have a workload of 24%. But it is in General in Ukraine, and if we take the regions where the greatest number of cases for a long time, the Kyiv city occupancy beds already accounting for 52%, Ivano-Frankivsk region was 48.8%, Lviv region – 52.8% occupancy beds, Chernivtsi region – of 52.4%,” – said Stepanov.

At the same time, he noted that there are regions where the situation is much better.

“So, Zaporozhie region, which is 3.6% as on today there is fixed a small number of patients COVID-19”, – the Minister added.

We will remind that for last days in Ukraine the largest number of confirmed cases COVID-19 was recorded in the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi regions and in Kyiv city.
