One of the largest companies for the production of marijuana in the United States bought California a small desert town Nipton and promised to turn it into a “welcoming city with cannabis”. It is reported by Espreso with reference to The Telegraph.

American Green Inc. stated that he had purchased 80 acres of land that includes a hotel in the old Western style, a few houses, a Park and a café. The current owner of the city said that the sale is still not completed, but confirmed that the company is the buyer. He refused to disclose the closing of the transaction.

American Green Inc. plans to spend on this project is $2.5 million.

The establishment of a tourist facility will be completed, as planned, in 18 months. The city will build new buildings and use of renewable energy sources. And the streets will be selling lollipops, candy and chewing gum with marijuana.

Nipton was founded in 1905 as a settlement of gold miners. But now it’s empty, live in it two dozen people.
