In the port of Odessa entered warships of Turkey

KIEV. March 6. UNN. In the port of Odessa came two ships of naval forces of Turkey in the framework of the annual exercises, “Blue homeland”, which will run until March 8. This was reported by the civil organization “Suspine Eye” in Facebook, reports UNN.

One of the Turkish ships TCG Barbaros frigate built in Germany and entered service in 1997. It is 117 m long and 15 m wide, on Board – rocket, artillery and anti-aircraft weapons, and attack helicopter.

Turkish boat TCG Marti is 58 m long and 7.6 m wide. He is armed with a 76 mm gun mount and a 35mm anti-aircraft guns. Also the boat is equipped with American anti-ship missiles “Harpoon”.

Today everyone will be able to visit the Turkish warships from 14:00 to 17:00. A visit will be possible before 7 March.
