In the port of Odessa detained smuggled cigarettes on 27 million UAH

ODESSA-KIEV. July 21. UNN. In the course of a special operation was blocked the international channel of smuggling of excisable goods from the United Arab Emirates on the territory of Ukraine. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the press service of the gpsu.

During carrying out investigative actions on the territory of Odessa commercial sea port in containers arriving from Dubai (UAE), instead of the goods “kitchenware” was discovered 2651 box of cigarettes of various brands without excise duty.

“Only to the investigation seized more than 1.3 million packs of cigarettes for the sum more than 27 million UAH”, – stated in the message. The investigation is continuing.

Recall, 20 July in the Kiev region seized about 100 kg of amber that contraband was smuggled into the EU.
