KIEV. 9 Aug. UNN. Odessa oblast Prosecutor’s office sent to court indictment against the suspect in creating and facilitating activities of terrorist groups. This was reported by press service of the Ministry in Facebook, reports UNN.
“The indictment against 47-year-old inhabitant of Odessa, suspected of creating a terrorist group, leadership, organizational support of activity of this group and other crimes is directed to court”, — is spoken in the message.
Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings was carried out by investigators of Management of SBU in Odessa region.
During the special (accelerated) investigation found that being on the temporarily uncontrolled territory, in collusion with other persons is a person under the Callsign “Odessa” created a terrorist group.
The group was supposed to “specialize” on terrorist activities on the territory of Kherson and Kherson region, using anti-personnel mines, rocket-propelled grenades, explosives, Semtex, small rocket flamethrowers and the like. Weapons and ammunition the attackers bought in the territory of Odessa and kept in the garage room.
Thanks to the measures taken jointly by the prosecution and USBU in Odessa region the activities of a terrorist group managed to neutralize, at the stage of equipping a weapon.
It should be noted that in respect of other three accused accomplices to the ongoing trial in the Primorsky district court. At the request of the Prosecutor of the Odessa region they are in custody.
We will remind, criminal liability has attracted a gang of terrorists involved in the attack on 24 August 2017.
