KIEV. July 6. UNN. Odessa oblast Prosecutor’s office sent to court indictment against members of an organized criminal group that stole luxury cars. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor of the Odessa region, reports UNN.
As reported in Prosecutor’s office, from November 2017 to February of this year, businessmen involved in the kidnapping of luxury cars.
“Previously convicted for seizure of vehicles 44-the summer inhabitant of Odessa organized criminal group of inhabitants of the region. Law enforcement documented facts 9 theft of cars, including BMW, Lexus, Land Rover. The car the kidnappers returned to their owners for monetary reward. Thanks to the joint activities of the Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region, Odessa DVB Office of emergency of Ukraine and the investigator of SU of GUNP in Odessa region suspended their criminal activities,” – said the press service.
The Prosecutor added that at the request of prosecutors, the organizer of the scheme and two of his accomplices are in custody.
As reported UNN, law enforcement officers detained the criminal group which was engaged in abduction of auto premium in the territory of Odessa and then return to their owners for reward.
