KIEV. 28 Aug. UNN. The monument to the heroes of the ATO in the form of a tower of the Donetsk airport opened in Dobroslav village in Odessa region. About it reported in a press-service of the General staff of the Armed forces of Ukraine, reports UNN.
So, the 7.5-meter-high monument is a shot control tower of the Donetsk airport. The building was placed several figures of the Ukrainian cyborgs, which kept the defense near the airport. And at the foot of the monument installed installation with map and emblem of Ukraine. On it the inscription: “Eternal glory to the immortality of the brave, who’s name is on the deed alive.”
“This monument should serve to remind people that we should be indebted to those people, thanks to whom we now have a peaceful sky over the head. We wanted to create a character that would educate entire generations of Ukrainians, we wanted something that would touch the souls of each, that would be an unprecedented example of heroism, courage and sacrifice. Perhaps that is why the idea of the control tower of the Donetsk airport. Because we all breathlessly watched there over the tower of the blue and yellow flag or not, and there when we saw it, we knew the guys there, and they will not break!” – said the head of the village Council Dobroslava Lyudmila Prokopechko.
