In the Odessa region near the railway track found shells of times of the Second world

ODESSA-KIEV. 10 Feb. UNN. Outside the village of Red Tarutino district of Odessa region on the side of the train tracks 194 km railway Artsyz – Berezino found artillery shells during the Second world war. About it the correspondent UNN reported in a press-service GU gschs in Odessa region.

“The scene has been a group of pyrotechnic works abnormally-saving group of a special purpose of head Department gschs of Ukraine in Odessa region, organized protection of the territory. The finds by experts-fireworkers were identified as artillery shells of calibre of 152 mm during the Second world war. Rescuers explosive items safely seized and disposed of in the prescribed manner”, – stated in the message.

During further inspection of the specified area of the discovered cluster munitions and the work on their seizure and disposal. On 9 February seized and destroyed projectiles caliber 20 mm – 20 units caliber 122 mm – 11 pieces, of 152 mm caliber – 19 units. For 10 Feb the seized projectiles caliber 20 mm – 19 units of 76 mm – 2 pieces, of 152 mm – 7 units.

Today 80 destroyed by artillery projectiles. Further work continues.
