In the Odessa region has earned special project “Mobile clinic”, thanks to which medical aid will be provided to residents of the most remote villages of the region.

This was announced by the Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.

“Let’s be honest: unfortunately, there is a shortage of some specialists at the district level. But that is no reason to leave patients without care! So I started the project “Mobile clinic”. Examinations will be held in all areas without exception. Absolutely free for people. Project system, designed not for one year”, – said Maxim Stepanov.

He added that the project is part of the reform of rural medicine, which gave the start of President Petro Poroshenko.

According to the Chairman of regional state administration, the so-called auto-ambulances will appear in 75 settlements of the region. In the first phase, physicians will examine more than 20 thousand rural residents.

Stepanov added that the free diagnosis will conduct two teams of specialists: cardiologists, ophthalmologists, gynecologists, endocrinologists and specialists of ultrasound diagnostics. In addition, the “mobile clinic” is equipped with a mobile mammography office.

“Mobile clinic” is to identify the most common diseases in early stages. If necessary patients will be sent for examination and treatment in specialized medical institutions.

Also, as stated by Maxim Stepanov, patients will be able to use the program “Affordable medicine”. Recall that 59 drugs you can get for free, and 202 funds with a small fee at the pharmacy. Those who will not be able to visit the pharmacy drugs will be delivered to your home.
