In Odessa region the community of Holy Trinity Cathedral in the village of Shiryaevo Novoielyzavetivka district took the decision to move from the former Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate in Odessa diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

As reported in the Odessa diocese of the DNC, on Saturday, February 16, the community of Holy Trinity Church of Novoielyzavetivka left Balt a former diocese of the UOC-MP and joined the Odessa diocese of the PCU.
“In the village Novoielyzavetivka always had been only one temple. Originally it was founded the parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Kiev Patriarchate, which operated from 1996 to 2002, and in 2002, the priest’s deception turned the parish of the UOC-MP”, – told in the diocese.
It is noted that the parishioners have decided to join ptsu. In particular, the community of Holy Trinity parish village Novoielyzavetivka voted unanimously for the transition to the PCU.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on January 20 the congregation of St. Demetrius Puzhaikove the village of Balta district of Odessa region first announced the transition from the former UOC-MP Orthodox Church in Ukraine. 25 Jan similar decision was taken by the community of the village Sarata, 9 Feb – the community of the Holy Dormition Church of the village of Sun.
