KIEV. 24 Feb. UNN. Yesterday, February 23, in the Odessa region in velykodolyns’ke village of the Ovidiopolsky area there was a fire at the sawmill. As a result of incident the man was lost. It is reported by the Department of communication of the police of Odessa region, reports UNN.
“Yesterday, the 23rd of February, about nine o’clock in the evening, the police received a report of a fire in the shop of processing of wood in velykodolyns’ke village of the Ovidiopolsky area”, – stated in the message.
After the liquidation of the fire engulfed an area of about 400 square meters, the fire place was found the body of 60-year-old man, who, according to available information, was an employee of the company.
Another worker was injured and was admitted to the hospital with the preliminary diagnosis – a fracture of bones of the foot.
The police added until the cause of the fire and the death of the deceased are installed. The preliminary cause of the fire – circuit wiring.
On this fact initiated criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 272 (violation of safety rules during the execution of works with high risk – ed.) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. Investigations are continuing.
