KIEV. March 6. UNN. Monitoringof the Ombudsman Commission on human rights has found serious violations of the rights of prisoners in the Arbuzinsky corrective colony No. 83 in the Nikolaev area. It is reported by UNN citing the press service of the Ukrainian Ombudsman.
It is noted that the convicts in the colony living in dire conditions – they have no access to drinking water, instead of toilets, they have holes in the floor, and instead of sinks, metal boxes or buckets.
Now in the Arbuzinsky colony is home to 386 prisoners. According to the monitoring group, and their dispersal to areas of uneven, and room for long-term Dating is not used.
The campus are in poor condition, and repairs carried out only in the dining room, the kitchen and rooms for meetings.
Also, the monitoring team found that the convicts have no opportunity to dispose of earned in the colony not to list their home, and the only store is intermittent.
Furthermore, sick prisoners, despite repeated examination, do not receive treatment.
