KIEV. The 4th of July. UNN. The Prosecutor’s office of Taichung (city in Central Western Taiwan – ed.) was arrested eight people on charges of fraud with bitcoins in especially large size, reports UNN with reference to CoinIdol.
The detainees are suspected of fraudulent transaction with bitcoin, which criminals could earn 49.5 million Taiwanese dollars (about 1.6 billion dollars.).
It is reported that the detainees were agitated the local population to invest in bitcoin, while promising to earn a fourfold profit. However, since March of last year, about 1 thousand “clients” of the attackers and did not receive the promised income.

In the national Parliament registered several bills on the legalization of digital money, and recently it was decided to combine them into a single document.
