In Sweden want to study at APU to resist Russian aggression
Uncategorized March 16, 2017In Sweden expressed the desire to use and learn from the military experience of Ukraine. This was stated in International centre of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Sweden (SWEDINT), which are involved in the training and also the Ukrainian military personnel, reports the Cabinet of Ministers.
“We are extremely interested in strengthening the capabilities of the Swedish armed forces, to our defence. We are ready to actively study the experience of Ukraine for use in training”, – said the representative of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze during her visit to the Centre.
At the meeting the sides discussed issues of cooperation in the security sphere of Sweden with international organizations – UN, NATO, and the EU.
In the framework of the visit to SWEDINT klympush-Tsintsadze held a meeting with representatives of the Nordic centre for gender, which discussed, in particular gender approaches and gender equality in the armed forces.
Klympush-Tsintsadze stressed the need to expand the participation of Ukrainian servicemen in the training Center. Also Sweden and Ukraine agreed to strengthen cooperation in countering hybrid threats and the effective implementation of international principles on gender policy.
