ODESSA-KIEV. August 31. UNN. Odessa oblast Prosecutor’s office sent to court indictment against members of the gang, on account of which a series of crimes, including kidnapping and unlawful confinement of an entrepreneur. About it reported in a press-service of the Ministry, reports UNN.
Six members of the group will appear before the court. Other participants declared wanted.
“In November of 2017, the attackers stole the Odessa businessman and over 49 days and kept in the cellar. The stay there was accompanied by psychological coercion and threat of use of physical violence. So, the 61-year-old man was repeatedly beaten and shot with a handgun near him to scare. For the life of the prisoner, the gang demanded a ransom from their relatives in the amount of 250 thousand U.S. dollars or more than 6.6 million UAH”, – noted in Prosecutor’s office.
Militiamen detained the kidnappers. Place of residence seized firearms and edged weapons, and explosives.
