“This is a key recognition of the talent of the great Odessa writers Ilya Ilf and Yevgeny Petrov, famed Odessa. The idea of the monument came at the beginning of this year, when many years later I again picked up the brilliant “12 chairs”. I wanted to capture their emotions and to Express them in this sculpture,” – said the author of the monument to Andrei Lubov.
