As reported the UNIAN in court, before the investigating judge considered the request of the investigator agreed with the Prosecutor about election of a measure of restraint in form of detention in respect of four entities.

The latter are suspected of committing criminal offenses under part 3, article 189 and part 1 of article 122 of the Criminal code of Ukraine – extortion, combined with violence dangerous to life or health.

The investigation established that the suspects demanded the victim a large sum of money for nondisclosure of personal information about honor and dignity. “However, after the victim had indicated that he had no money – he was thrown off the balcony of the apartment located on the second floor of the house, with the result that he received substantial injuries,” – said in court.

As noted, the judge made the decision on satisfaction of the petition in respect of three individuals and used against them the measure of restraint in the form of detention for a period of 60 days. The fourth attacker is sent under house – arrest.

As UNIAN reported earlier, in Odessa detained four of the attackers, the release of a Finnish citizen from the second floor of a residential building. According to 36-year-old victim, the attackers demanded 2 thousand us dollars. for non-disclosure of personal information about honor and dignity. According to unofficial data, the confidentiality of information about what the victim allegedly is a supporter of non-traditional sexual orientation. Between him and extortionists was a fight, during which he was thrown off the balcony. In the result, the victim suffered a fracture of both heels. All participants of incident – local residents aged 19 to 44 years.
