In Odessa started the international film festival

KIEV. July 15. UNN. In Odessa hosted an international film festival. The opening began with the traditional “red carpet” in the Odessa national theatre of Opera and ballet, which past Directors of the submitted films, actors, politicians, musicians, writers and others. The festival will be held in Odessa from 14 to 22 July, it is reported by UNN with possidendam on Twitter events.

Friday opened the festival film by French writer and Director Carine Tardieu “to be sure”, which premiered this year at the 70th Cannes film festival. And on Saturday in the framework of the OIFF-2017 on the Potemkin stairs will be an outdoor screening of silent movies. The painting “happiness for women” 1930 will be accompanied by live music.

We will note, the Commission has selected 12 films from China, Ukraine, Serbia, Austria, Lithuania, Israel, Estonia, France, Brazil, Georgia, Belgium, Spain that will compete for the Grand Prix of the Odessa international film festival “Golden Duke” and other International competition awards.

We will remind, the Odessa international film festival initiated the creation of the Ukrainian Academy , which plans to give the National film award.
