In Odessa released the arrested person on request of the Russian Crimean Tatar
Uncategorized June 9, 2017The decision of the Malinovsky district court of Odessa about the arrest of a member of the Muslim movement Hizb ut-Tahrir Ildar Valiev was cancelled by the regional court of Appeal. This writes the Agency of Crimea.Realities.
“Release from custody immediately,” the judge said Albina Kadygrob.
Three hours after this decision Valieva released from the detention center of Odessa.
The lawyer of the Crimean Tatar said that the membership in this organization is not a crime in Ukraine, unlike Russia, the Investigative Committee which incriminates Valiev “participation in campaign meetings,” Muslims in private homes in the city of Kazan.
Valiev appealed to the Ukrainian migration service with the application for asylum; he has four children, legally entered Ukraine and issued here the right to work.
According to Crimean Tatar, he was forced to leave Russia in 2015, “due to pressure and threats of imprisonment for their religious and political views”. “Due to the fact that I am a member of Hizb ut-Tahrir, he said, adding that the situation in Ukraine is favourable for Muslims.

25 may 2017 Valiyev was detained at the airport of Odessa as a person wanted through Interpol at the request of the SC of the Russian Federation on suspicion of membership “in a terrorist organization”. He could face extradition to Russia.
Hizb ut-Tahrir calls his mission the unification of all Muslim countries into an Islamic Caliphate, but, unlike radical Islamists, rejected terrorist methods to achieve this. In Russia, the court banned the organization in 2003 and included in the list of 15 “terrorist” associations.
