In Odessa region the man tried to illegally transport cigarettes to 270 thousand UAH

KIEV. 20 Jan. UNN. In Odessa region the man tried to move through the checkpoint “Hrebenyky” 100 cartons of cigarettes for a total amount of 270 thousand hryvnia. It is reported by UNN with reference to the Administration of the state border service of Ukraine (APSU).

“Our compatriot was trying to smuggle cigarettes through the local checkpoint ”Hrebenyky“ on the car ”Mercedes Sprinter“ registration of Ukrainian”, — stated in the message of the border service.

In particular, added that during the inspection of a minibus “in the design features of the vehicle, namely, under the driver’s and passenger seats, with signs of concealment was discovered 100 cartons of cigarettes of the Moldavian production of “MARBLE” without excise stamps”.

Cigarette and the car as a means of illegal movement of goods seized by representatives of the Odessa customs.

The total amount of confiscated goods amounted to more than 270 thousand UAH.
