In Odessa region the man took his family hostage and started shooting

KIEV. 2 Dec. UNN. In Belgorod-Dniester Odessa region detained a local resident, who in a state of intoxication took hostage his wife and daughter and was shot by police officers. This was reported by press service of the police of Odessa region, reports UNN.

“Friday evening ended with the release of two women in Belgorod-Dniester. Armed with a gun 73-year-old man after a family quarrel, threatening murder and arson, barricaded in the house of his wife and daughter,” — said in the message.

Noted that at the scene arrived employees of the local police Department, the leadership of GUNP, fighters of special purpose units, negotiators, workers of SSES and prosecutors. To resolve the situation on the ground was the work of the operational headquarters.

“A special operation led personally by the chief of the Odessa police Dmitry Golovin, who persuaded the perpetrator to let his wife and daughter. However, the man did not listen to the words of the head of the police and fired several shots at law enforcement officers, after which it was decided to take the house by storm,” — said the police.

During carrying out special operation detained the offender, no injuries.

In addition, the scene seized a hunting gun, gun “Flaubert” and bottles of gasoline.

As reported in police, the event qualified as attempt at a premeditated murder.
