In Odessa region the area for five days without electricity due to bad weather

In Ukraine as of 12:00 on January 23 is de-energized due to bad weather remain 110 settlements in five areas, according to the state service for emergency situations. The most difficult situation – in the Odessa region, in one of the areas which Chilia – in most localities there is no light from 18 January, and the restoration of electricity could take another two weeks.

According to the report of the SSES, the power supply is missing in 68 n of Odessa region, 24 – Cherkasy, 10 – Kherson, seven – Zaporizhia, one – Chernihiv. To restore the power supply of the involved brigade oblenergos.

In particular, work is continuing to restore electricity to the city of Vilkovo of Odessa region, where there is no light for more than five days.

According to SSES, now for the energy of the city pumping station, two schools and a hospital are two mobile power plants.

The inhabitants of Vilkovo told LIGA.netthat the city remained without electricity on Thursday afternoon, January 18, due to abnormal weather, which caused severe damage to power lines supplying electricity to the town.

The first two days in Vylkove was completely absent mobile connection. January 20, it was partially restored, now functioning more or less stable, but there is no coverage of the operator lifecell. Due to the lack of light in the city has a charging point for mobile phones.

In addition, according to residents, the first day in Vilkovo there was no centralized water supply, now water is pumped hourly.

The head of kiliysky regional Council Pavel Boychenko in the evening of 22 January, in his Facebook said that a local outlet in Vilkovo restored, now there are restoration works on high voltage lines feeding the city.

Also, the restoration of electricity around the Chilia district, which, according to Boychenko, were affected significantly more than other districts of Odessa region. While the best situation with electricity is observed in the district of Kilia, although there is also not yet completed.

“Roughly (in the area) will be completed before 5 February,” – said the head of the district Council.
