ODESSA-KIEV. August 23. UNN. On the occasion of Day of Ukrainian Flag on the Potemkin stairs in Odessa, launched a 27-metre flag, the correspondent of UNN.
The event was attended by about 300 citizens of Odessa, cadets, and guests of the city who carried the Ukrainian flag on the Potemkin stairs. Near the monument to Duke, holding a 27-meter flag, the event participants sang the anthem of Ukraine.
According to the organizers, every year the giant blue and yellow flag dolivayut one meter cloth, which symbolizes the age of our state.
Note, this event is part of the annual “Vyshivankovy festival”. Tomorrow the monument to Duke around the marine station of Odessa is planning to create the biggest vyshivankovy chain.
