In the port of Odessa returned to the Ukrainian flagship “Hetman Sahaidachny” / Photo UNIAN Odessa in connection with the imposition of martial law strengthened the protection of the port.
As reported the UNIAN in a press-service of administration of the Odessa sea commercial port, today the corresponding statement was made head of the port authority Igor Tkachuk at the meeting with representatives of public and veteran organizations.

“Today we received a separate order of the head of Administration of seaports of Ukraine about strengthening of measures for mobilization training, Maritime safety and port security in connection with the worsening military-political situation in the country,” said Tkachuk.
According to him, in accordance with the provisions of this document, instruct heads of departments and services to ensure adequate and rapid response to possible threats, perform the actions stipulated in the International code for the security of ships and port facilities. He also noted that the port maintains close communication with command of naval forces of VSU, based at the port, with the SBU, border guards, customs.
In addition, the meeting participants heard and unanimously approved the text of the appeal of the NGO “Union of officers of Ukraine”, which condemns the armed aggression of Russia against the ship of the Ukrainian Navy, EN route from the port of Odessa to the port of Mariupol.
As reported the UNIAN, 26 November the Verkhovna Rada adopted the decree of the President about introduction of martial law in several regions of Ukraine for 30 days.
The law stipulates that martial law is introduced in Vinnytsia, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson regions and in the internal waters of Ukraine the Azov-Kerch water area.
