The Prosecutor’s office in Kiev together with SBU and Kiev police exposed and stopped activity of group of swindlers who sold securities of the American company “Tesla Motors Inc”.

Reports a press about it-service of Prosecutor’s office of Kiev.

For the implementation of the criminal scheme group created the website “mission” of the American company “Tesla Motors Inc” in Ukraine, and registered in Kiev, the company “Tesla Group Ukraine” and LLC “NASDAQ Group Ukraine”.

On the phishing web site was an advertisement of securities, and Tesla stated that for more than 4 years “Tesla Group Ukraine” offers individuals to buy securities (stocks and bonds) of a U.S. Corporation.

The loss of one of the applicants amounted to 120 thousand dollars.

21 February 2019 according to the results of investigative actions in Odessa detained two malefactors involved in the organization of the fraudulent scheme.

To them threatens from 7 till 12 years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to hold certain posts or practice certain activities for a term up to three years with confiscation of property.
