In Odessa, a tree collapsed on a Playground: the man who saved two children at the cost of fractures

Today in Odessa the hospitalized man, scarred as a result of the fact that the Playground because of the strong wind collapsed a large tree.

As UNIAN reported in the city hall, the collapse occurred on the Avenue of the Heavenly Hundred.

The victim suffered an open fracture to the leg and a closed fracture of the shoulder.

“Victim – man, two fractures, was hospitalized in “Intoscana” (private clinic – the UNIAN)”, – reported in a press-service of the city hall.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred on Monday afternoon near the house №14. The locals say that the victim was walking with two children who during the fall of the tree had to cover themselves.

Eyewitnesses say that the children were also taken to the hospital, in the city hall claim that children are not affected.

In a press-service of the city hall also emphasize that the message of hydrometeorological centre of Black and Azov seas, in the next 1-3 hours in Odessa and Odessa region is expected to strengthen North-Western wind of 25-28 m/s (level 2 risk).

In this regard, the municipality appeals to residents with a request to limit movement around the city, without the pressing need not to travel by private vehicles on the streets.
