KIEV. May 14. UNN. Employees of SBU exposed the bribe senior investigator Department to investigate crimes in the sphere of transport of one of the Odessa regional departments of police. About it reports a press-the SBU center, reports UNN.
“The operatives of the intelligence agencies documented the fact of extortion by police major at the local five thousand dollars for failure to prosecute for committing a traffic accident. Failure to pay the specified amount and threatened to take the witness to the status of the accused”, – is spoken in the message.
As noted, in mediating the policeman called a lawyer. Law enforcement officers detained both malefactors on one of the streets of the regional center upon receipt of the first part of illegal benefit in the amount of 1 thousand dollars.
In the framework of the open criminal proceedings under part 3 of article 368 (receiving improper compensation) of the Criminal code of Ukraine are continuing investigations to establish the possible involvement of other persons for illegal activities. Operation exposing the criminal actions were conducted jointly with the internal security police under the procedural guidance of the military Prosecutor’s office.
As reported UNN, according to the results of operation conducted by the prosecutors of the Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office with the involvement of operatives of Department “K” of the Main Department of the security Service of Ukraine in Kiev and Kiev region detained the judge of the District administrative court of Kyiv caught “on hot” when receiving improper benefits .
