In the capital of Belarus at a rally in support of presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovski came not less than 64 thousand people, the human rights center “Spring”. Broadcast from the rally led Tut.by.

The venue of the rally were concentrated large forces of police. Before the concert, they began to put barriers, explaining that the increased security measures due to terrorist attacks, which allegedly was preparing caught on the territory of Belarus, the Russian mercenaries. Svetlana Tikhanovski added that “these militants must be dealt with separately, and elections, let them pass the law.” “No one will believe that these fighters we sent it to the election. They talk about some kind of revolution. My God, what a revolution? People, we just want fair elections. What revolution? So why do you provoke your people? Us fighters absolutely useless. We are peaceful people,” – said Svetlana Tikhanovski.
She promised to do three things as President: to release political prisoners, and economic prisoners, to hold a referendum on the return of the Constitution of 1994, and within six months to hold new elections of the head of state.
Leading from the scene said that the Belarusians have gathered the victims during the campaign of 260 thousand roubles, fines of the detainees and to help those who have lost their jobs because of their political position.
Around 22:00, people began to disperse. Lorries, buses, cars of security forces, who stood outside karastoyanovoi, began to disperse.
Svetlana Tikhanovski became the candidate in presidents of Belarus after her husband – Youtube-blogger Sergei Tikhanovski not allowed to participate in elections. Moreover, at the end of may he became involved in several criminal cases and since then is in custody.
